To find the best film of every year we have to wait for 12 months. But brother, the story of 2024 is different. In just two months, we have seen a film which no one will be able to challenge in the coming five years. I am talking about Manju. Small budget Malayalam film which is sitting outside the theater with 'Housefull' board even in its third week.

Manjummel Boys Movie Review |
To be very honest, you don't even have any idea what is going to happen inside the film and at what level the warning is going to be given. Those with a weak heart. Please stay away. I am not going to tell you anything about the film. Not even one percent, because this is cinema which is experienced only in the theatre. Yes, but the real life story on which it is based.
Let me give him a small introduction. The story is a bit scary. Listen comfortably with safety. There is a famous picnic spot in the forest of Tamil Nadu, which is called Guna. But this is just a deception because the real Gunas are those where actual people are not allowed to go. There is a cave inside the cave which the British named The Devil's Kitchen. Means the place where the devil cooks his food. Hey, some people even call it nature mortuary where God keeps dead bodies. Why do these places have such scary names?
There is a whole real life history behind it. If someone accidentally falls into this cave, he has never come back out till date. You must have seen this photo many times on the internet with many motivational quotes. Just Devil's Kitchen is its real life example. they speak. As much as this mountain is above the ground, where it is made of Guna, it is equally the Devil's Kitchen. Goes deep under the ground.
Direct is the door to hell. According to police records, 16 people have fallen into this. Whose whereabouts are still unknown. Once someone fell down, neither he nor his voice came. Such a scary story that I am getting goosebumps while telling it. So what will be the condition when you see it live in the theater? I am scaring you. I am preparing.
Lifetime Experience. Manju Boys is a very powerful cinema, which you will never forget in your life. The film has been made in a survival thriller style full of suspense, which will not let you sit comfortably on your seat till the very last scene. Totally predictable story. Especially for those who are hearing about Guna for the first time.
Hint: The ending will be like this, your eyes will be wet. Filmmaking is so close to reality that the twists and turns in the film appear exactly like real life. I don't even remember the last time when you expect the least from them and are not prepared for it. When had I ever experienced so many emotions simultaneously while watching a movie?
Fear, anger, comedy, tragedy, it's all there. Not easy. You may find many scenes disturbing but interesting. The character of the police is very provocative in the film. You will be shocked. Especially while watching a scene, remember that it is not just a story. Happened in real life. Its impact with someone. It increases a hundred times in the mind.
Plus the acting performance in this film looks like CCTV footage and not a film. Forget the actors. All of them are real life characters. When there is no need for dialogues to take the story of a film forward. You start understanding the story just by looking at the expressions of the actors. Boss, this film is special. We always easily give the credit for the success of a film to the star cast. But the real X factor of Manju Boss is its haunting direction. Why did you say hunting?
Can't reveal too much, otherwise the plot of the film will be revealed. But it will seem as if you yourself are sitting inside the Devil's Kitchen. The camerawork is such that even after sitting completely free in the theatre, you start feeling suffocation. Cave What, be afraid of the name of the cave, Even. After the movie ends, if you close your eyes, you will go straight to Devil's Kitchen. Thanks to genius direction, it's going to play with your mind.
Personally, after a very long time, I have seen every person sitting in the theater connecting so much with a film. Frankly speaking, if Manju Boys was made in Hollywood, it would surely have won the Oscar Award. Even the British have not seen such realistic cinema, so Boss Doubt Manju Boss is going to get full five stars from me and there is no other option. First creative direction. Why is Guna called Devil's Kitchen?
Don't just tell, show with live eyes. The second impact is full story telling with full twists and turns ending which is almost impossible to predict. The third is a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Oh My God! It doesn't relate to real life situations so much as these two hours will test you. Fourth, the difference between speech-less acting, performance, cinema and reality became zero. And last but not least.
The authenticity of the film is absolutely real. Like the visuals are not a big set. No over the top special effects. Raw Natural Haunted Cinema. Please do watch this film. Then if you tell your friends, it will feel like an achievement. And yes, only in the theatre. This condition is not to waste time on TV and mobile. Ok.
